During his childhood, when Yeşilçam Cinema films were on TV, with his family, he watched the films of the Turkish film stars such as Fatma Girik, Türkan Şoray, Hülya Koçyiğit, Ayşen Gruda, Adile Naşit, Münir Özkul, Şener Şen, Fikret Hakan, Ediz Hun, Kadir İnanır, Sadri Alışık, Erol Taş, Cüneyt Arkın and Kemal Sunal. In those years, watching a movie in the theaters had been possible only when the whole school went together, especially for this hard-working student who wanted to become a doctor or an engineer. At the time he did not like the movie, but realized that the movie theaters were another world. He rented a VCD device and several movies, and organized screenings in the high school TV room for a few. He continued these screenings in Istanbul, where he went to study engineering. After a while, he got bored of Hollywood films and became interested in World Cinema. He watched all the famous and reputable films from the cinemas of France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Korea and Japan. Thanks to a friend, his interest for Yeşilçam films was awakened in the current cinema environment where those films were despised. After watching them all, he regretted why he kept his distance to those films made by Ömer Lütfi Akad, Metin Erksan, and Yücel Çakmaklı. He keeps the track of the new cinema movement that started in the 90's in Turkey, albeit critically. He watches whatever he can find at the festivals, online platforms, DVDs, and on theaters. Is there a specific form of filmmaking for Turkish Cinema? How is it possible? How should it be? How can it be? These questions are always in his mind. On his way of watching films alone, he crossed paths with many cinema enthusiasts. He is also an engineer. He writes only about the movies he likes. He will keep writing on Günce Sinema, a platform that he contributed to set an agenda specific for himself, not designed by the others. He wishes to receive comments on his articles, either openly or privately. He expects to hear form his audience about the things he is interested. He is always open to having long conversations whenever he finds someone with shared cinema interest.

This gave her more insight and wonder than a whole life experience can ever give. She continues to watch, think, and write.

She was born in 1974 in Çorum/Turkey. She is married and mother of one. She likes reading and writing. She found a window to cinema from the world of books. She saw that it was a vast sea, and resting her feet on the beach for now. She doesn't know how to swim and does not intend to become a diver. Non-assertive. For the reason that "the one who has an assertion gets tested". The things that are written on the beach will be deleted soon or later, but anyway. Writing is a bit of fun, a bit of getting done. What is permanent anyway? A hope: The dream on the screen resembles the truth.
